Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Foreman / Chargehand to oversee daily operations on our construction and engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of site safety, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage on-site labor teams, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
• Monitor work quality and compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
• Assist project managers in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Maintain accurate records of materials, equipment, and workforce attendance.
• Report progress, challenges, and potential risks to senior management.
• Mentor junior staff and provide guidance to improve productivity and skills.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Foreman or Chargehand in construction, civil, or mechanical projects.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and construction best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work plans.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and willingness to work in various site conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications in construction safety or management.
• Experience with large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.
